Without our team of passionate volunteers, Random Acts of Flowers wouldn’t be able to provide beautiful bouquets and moments of kindness throughout our communities. Whether you have an hour or a whole week, we value every moment you spend with us.

How do I start?

Contact your local branch to find out what volunteer opportunities are available. You will fill out a Volunteer Information Form and be asked to sign up for a Volunteer Orientation. During orientation, you’ll meet the local staff, learn about volunteer opportunities and have hands-on training with the flowers.

What can I do?

Throughout the week, our volunteers prepare donated flowers for repurposing, create beautiful bouquets, and make personal deliveries of moments of kindness to neighbors in hospitals, hospices and health care facilities. Volunteers are also needed to drive our vans, serve as greeters, provide administration assistance and data entry, composting, help with processing our donated vases, and keeping our facilities safe and clean.

“I recently moved here and I’ve been feeling a little lonely and useless. I needed something that would help me meet some great people, and allow me to be a part of something bigger. Both of those things I’ve definitely found in RAF. I can’t wait to come back and help more!”
