Random Acts of Flowers will celebrate the opening of the Silicon Valley branch at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Lytton Gardens, 437 Webster St. in Palo Alto. This is the organization’s first move to the West Coast following openings in Tennessee, Tampa and Chicago.
A new nonprofit is starting to bloom here, based on the idea of collecting free flowers and giving them to people to cheer them up.
