Random Acts of Flowers opened its Silicon Valley branch this afternoon, and volunteers are already arranging and recycling flower arrangements.

Larsen Jay, RAF’s founder and CEO, along with Linda Plount, Silicon Valley RAF’s executive director, board members, and volunteers were all in attendance for the first delivery made at Lytton Gardens Health Care Center in Palo Alto.

“Expanding west from our headquarters in Knoxville, Tenn., has been a goal of mine since this organization started,” Jay said. “To see the number of people we have reached through RAF makes all of our work worth it, especially when the delivery may be the only thing that brightens someone’s day.”
