Evanston-based Random Acts of Flowers Chicago volunteers created and delivered some 3,000 bouquets to moms of babies in neonatal nurseries in hospitals throughout Chicago and the suburbs for Mother’s Day. Deliveries will continue through May, in honor of mothers.

Flowers donated by grocery stores, retail and wholesale florists, weddings, galas, funerals and national partner FTD/Pro Flowers are being refashioned into bouquets in RAF’s Evanston warehouse. “We also need vases,” noted Joanie Bayhack of Wilmette, executive director of RAF Chicago.
