Flowers really do have the power to heal! Random Acts of Flowers is a non-profit organization that recycles flowers into beautiful bouquets that are delivered to patients at hospitals, senior centers and other healthcare facilities. Random Acts of Flowers strives to be a 100% recycling organization with the help of their volunteers, only using repurposed flowers from donations. Instead of throwing away flowers after a hospital stay, why not use them to make someone’s day!
In July 2007, Random Acts of Flowers’ founder, Larsen Jay, was in a near-fatal accident. While recovering, Larsen received love, support and … flowers! They raised his spirits so much that he wanted to do the same for others.
