In hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare facilities across the country, patients and residents are receiving unexpected surprises from complete strangers. Beautiful blooms that once adorned wedding bouquets, centerpieces and other celebratory floral arrangements are being repurposed by the nonprofit organization Random Acts of Flowers and finding new life at the bedsides of grateful recipients.
